- Yinlin's Ultimate is a major part of her damage and an incredibly helpful tool for quickly applying her Sinner's Mark to multiple enemies at once after a quick swap.
- This makes her Forte Chameleon Cipher which aims to convert Sinner's Marks to Punishment Mark much easier to use - with a higher chance to apply the Punishment Mark to many more enemies at once. Without combining these two you'll have to rely on Yinlin's basics and skills to mark enemies before using her Forte.
- Due to these interactions getting enough Energy Regeneration is important. We recommend 120 - 130% to comfortably have your ultimate available in a timely manner for damage and applying Sinner's Mark in cases you need them.

Execution Mode
Basic Attack and Dodge Counter will trigger 1 Electromagnetic Blast when hitting a target.
Each stage of Basic Attack or Dodge Counter can only trigger 1 Electromagnetic Blast, up to 4 times.
Electromagnetic Blast
Attack all targets marked with Forte Circuit Sinner's Mark, dealing Electro DMG.
Lightning Execution

Chameleon Cipher
When Yinlin's Judgment Points are full, her Heavy Attack is replaced with Chameleon Cipher, which consumes all Judgment Points to attack the target, dealing Electro DMG. When it hits a target marked with Sinner's Mark, the Sinner's Mark is replaced with Punishment Mark, lasting for 18s. Chameleon Cipher deals Heavy Attack DMG.
Sinner's Mark
Basic Attack Zapstring's Dance, Resonance Liberation Thundering Wrath, and Intro Skill Roaring Storm apply Sinner's Mark to the target on hit.
Sinner's Mark is removed when Yinlin is switched out.
Punishment Mark
When a target marked with Punishment Mark takes damage, Judgement Strike will fall, triggering Coordinated Attacks to all targets marked with Punishment Mark, dealing Electro DMG. This can be triggered up to 1 time per second. Judgement Strike deals Resonance Skill DMG.
Judgment Points
Yinlin can hold up to 100 Judgement Points. Yinlin gains Judgement Points through the following ways:
Upon casting Intro Skill Raging Storm
When Basic Attack Zapstring's Dance hits a target

Weapons
Yinlin's signature Rectifier that stands far above all other options currently in the game for Rectifier damage dealers, thanks to its unethical amount of CRIT RATE and generic damage boost on top of a reasonably easy to active ATK% boost.
Zhezhi's Signature weapon that is tailored for her and characters that deal a large amount of their damage through Basic Attacks. Characters that intend to use this weapon should also be able to frequently launch Resonance Skills - ideally every 6 seconds while fighting. As a baseline the weapon offers a tremendous 72% CRIT DMG main stat alongside an unconditional 12% ATK buff, all on top of its Basic Attack DMG buffing capabilities. When using any Resonance Skill, the wearer gains a stack granting 12% Basic Attack DMG for 6 seconds stackable up to 3 times. This effect isn't easy to keep active for characters that aren't Zhezhi but if you can it's a nice bonus. Upon casting an Outro, if the wearer has a full 3 stacks of the buff all of them will be consumed replacing the buff with a 52% Basic Attack DMG bonus for 27 seconds but only while that character remains off the field.
An excellent Rectifier, only in competition with some 4★ Weapons with multiple dupes. Offers high base ATK, ATK%, a good amount of Energy Regen to save at least 1 sub-stat on gear to be reallocated to better uses and a stackable Basic ATK DMG% bonus that ramps up as you use more and more Basics.
Outstanding generic Rectifier option, offering base CRIT RATE for excellent scaling but also an easily activatable and maintainable bonus ability granting ATK% after the wearer's Resonance Liberation is activated. Almost any character who can use CRIT RATE and ATK will be more than happy to have this weapon available only losing to 5★ options.
Despite this weapon being in direct competition with other F2P 4* options, this weapon is very solid for any ATK% scaling characters. The ATK% boost it provides when casting your Resonance Skill is great on most characters, and while the small energy generation it provides at the same time is more situational, it can be handy as well.
A good alternative 4★ Rectifier to Augment, offering an easy to maintain bonus ability granting ATK% after using an Intro skill and a good amount of ATK% as a main stat.
Echo set
Echo set 1

5pcs Set: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
Moonlit Clouds is currently the best Echo set for Yinlin as her Sub-DPS role will mainly focus on providing aid to the main DPS through the buffs provided by the set and Impermanence Heron. While it lessens her own damage output, the utility it provides far outweigh the cons of using this set.
Transform into Impermanence Heron to fly up and smack down, dealing 310.56% Havoc DMG.
Long press to stay as Impermanence Heron and continuously spit flames, each attack dealing 55.73% Havoc DMG.
Once the initial attack lands on any enemy, the current character regains 10 Resonance Energy. If the current character uses their Outro Skill within the next 15s, the next character's damage dealt will be boosted by 12% for 15s.
CD: 20s
Restores Yinlin's Resonance Energy so she can cast her Ultimate more. Increases the next character's DMG dealt, good for a semi-support role for Yinlin.
Echo set 2

5pcs Set: Increase the Resonator's Coordinated Attack DMG by 80%. Upon a critical hit of Coordinated Attack, increase the active Resonator's ATK by 20% for 4s.
Empyrean Anthem is an option for Yinlin as it provides buffs to both the active Resonator and herself through her Critical Coordinated Attacks. This falls short as a set, however, as Yinlin cannot provide a consistent source of Coordinated Attacks due to them being reliant on her marks to trigger.
Transform into Nightmare: Tempest Mephis and attack surrounding enemies, dealing 405.00% Electro DMG.
The Resonator with this Echo equipped in their main slot gains 12.00% Electro DMG Bonus and 12.00% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus.
CD: 25s.
Increases the Coordinated Attack DMG of Yinlin by a lot while buffing her Electro DMG and Resonance Skill DMG.
Echo set 3

5pcs Set: Electro DMG + 15% after releasing Heavy Attack or Resonance Skill. This effect stacks up to 2 times, each stack lasts 15s.
If you're missing a DPS unit and only have Yinlin, Void Thunder is going to be your go-to Sonata Effect.
Nightmare: Tempest Mephis as the best in slot, but for early game you can run the normal version of this echo.

Synergies & Team Formation
Synergies
Yinlin's Coordinated Attacks, personal damage, small buffs she provides to Jinhsi's Ultimate via Outro and general buffs with Echoes, and her swap cancel windows at a less casual level, make Jinhsi and Yinlin a competitive pair to Zhezhi (while being a bit worse), and one of the best teams in the game.
Due to Yinlin's good personal off-field damage, but most importantly her extremely important 20% Electro and 25% Liberation DMG Amplify on Outro, she can buff Xiangli Yao by ludicrous amounts and make him a top DPS.
Similarly to Xiangli Yao, Yinlin's good personal off-field damage and her extremely important 20% Electro and 25% Liberation DMG Amplify on Outro buffs Calcharo a major amount, while also being able to trade those buffs off for consistency by abusing each other's many Swap Cancel windows, making the pair natural.
Yinlin is actually the character Youhu buffs the most, due to Yinlin having the highest personal damage of any Coordinated Attack DPS in the game and her ability to amplify Coordinated Attack DMG by 100% on Outro. As a result, the pairing is natural, while it doesn't compare to 5 star supports.
One of the usual Healing Support options that can slot into any team. Super easy to use, provides amazing team-wide ATK% buffs and 15% DMG Amplify with one of the fastest rotations in the game.
Similar to Verina, a premium Healing Support option who can not only slot into any team, but also provide insane 12.5% Crit Rate, 25% Crit DMG, 25% ATK and 15% DMG Amplify buffs to your whole team. One of the best but also easy to use characters in the game.

Cherished Items

Once a simple puppet, now a fierce weapon thanks to Yinlin's Resonance abilities. She may deny it, but her love for the doll is evident in every detail, despite its wear and tear from years of battle. It was once just a practice piece for a doll maker, but now it serves as Yinlin's trusted ally on the battlefield.

Yinlin's qipao may seem to be merely a fashion choice, but it actually serves as a secret codebook for communicating with her liaison. This book on qipao designs is constantly changing and filled with encrypted images and symbols, making it challenging even for experienced liaisons to use. In addition to its hidden equipment and weapons, the qipao also helps Yinlin move around undetected, but its distinctive appearance can sometimes draw unwanted attention.

This Investigative Magnifying Glass is given to new Patrollers by the Public Security Bureau. It's small but powerful, helping them find hidden clues. Yinlin, as a secret agent, doesn't use it often. But it still holds significance for her: It is a tribute to her late parents and a reminder of her true identity.
