Resonance Skill: Fury Fugue
When Mortefi's Annoyance reaches 100, his Resonance Skill is replaced with Fury Fugue.
When casting Fury Fugue, Mortefi consumes all Annoyance to unleash high-speed flame lightning, dealing Fusion DMG, considered as Resonance Skill DMG.

Mortefi can hold up to 100 Annoyance and can restore Annoyance in the following ways:
- When Normal Attack Impromptu Show hits the target
- When Intro Skill Dissonance hits the target
- When Resonance Skill Passionate Variation hits the target
- Within 5s after casting Passionate Variation, Normal Attack Impromptu Show that hits the target restores Annoyance additionally.

Resonance Chain

During Resonance Liberation Burning Rhapsody, Mortefi launches Coordinated Attacks when the on-field character performs their Resonance Skills, firing 2 Resonance Liberation's Marcato hits, dealing Fusion DMG.

After using the Echo Skill, Mortefi restores an additional 10 Resonance Energy. This can be triggered once every 20 second.

During Resonance Liberation Burning Rhapsody, the Crit. DMG of Resonance Liberation's Marcato is increased by 30%.

The duration of Resonance Liberation Burning Rhapsody is extended by 7s.

When Resonance Skill Passionate Variation or Resonance Skill Fury Fugue hits a target, Coordinated Attacks will be triggered to fire 4 Resonance Liberation's Marcato hit(s), dealing Fusion DMG. DMG of Resonance Liberation's Marcato fired in this way is reduced by 50%.

When Resonance Liberation Violent Finale is cast, ATK of all team members is increased by 20% for 20s.
Skill Priority





Weapons
Carlotta's Signature and a solid choice for most pistol based resonators due to its decent base damage, very high CRIT DMG% and permanent ATK% boost. Far more effective though for resonators that deal some or the majority of their damage through Resonance Skill damaging abilites.
Incredibly potent option offering main stat CRIT RATE, great base damage and a good amount of energy recharge allowing for sub stats to be used elsewhere. Also offers a supportive ability granting the next character to switch in an ATK boost granting it extra value for Hybrid and Support characters.
While in competition with other F2P 4* options, the buff uptime on this weapon is one of the most consistent and reliable for ATK scaling pistol DPS characters. The ATK% boost it provides when casting your Resonance Skill is great on most characters, and while the small energy generation it provides at the same time is more situational, it can be handy as well.
Gun usable by all resonators, offering good bonuses to ATK but reliant on dodging 3 times initially (with continual dodges after that). Should only be used by those willing to perform dodges at the start of their rotation and consistently after. Calculations assume you perform dodges as soon as possible and maintain the buff.
Powerful Gun option for Resonance Skill focused damage characters, but with a heavy conditional required for activation. Grants solid base damage and ATK% via main stats. Also offers an incredibly potent stackable Resonance Skill DMG% bonus that requires the users consistently use Basic Attacks to maintain.
Generic gun option usable by all characters but with a significant ramp-up time on its bonus. Also requires the player not to be hit in order to extract full value. If you do get hit this weapon will fall behind (calculations assume you don't get hit once).
Strong gun option for resonators that deal primarily Resonance Skill DMG with little to no conditions to worry about, thanks to its effect being tied to Intro skills. Grants a Resonance Skill DMG bonus that lasts for 15 seconds on using Intro - long enough for most Main DPS to finish their burst window making this a strong consistent option.
Echo set

5pcs Set: Increase the Resonator's Coordinated Attack DMG by 80%. Upon a critical hit of Coordinated Attack, increase the active Resonator's ATK by 20% for 4s.
Empyrean Anthem provides the set holder a significant increase in Coordinated Attack damage, and increases the active Resonator's ATK when doing critical hits. This works well with Mortefi as it increases his off-field damage while offering decent buffs to the DPS. Note that Mortefi's S4 Resonance Chain is a must-have with this set to fully utilize the buffs provided through the extended duration of his Resonance Liberation.


Summon 3 twirling Crescent Servants around you. Crescent Servants attack enemies with their spinning blades, dealing 45.59% Havoc DMG. Triggering a Counterattack with the Echo attacks resets the Crescent Servants' duration.
The Resonator with this Echo equipped in the main slot has their Coordinated Attack DMG increased by 40.00%.
CD: 20s.
Provides significant increase in Coordinated Attack damage which works extremely well with Mortefi's Ultimate.
Echo set 2

5pcs Set: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
Moonlit Clouds generally increases Mortefi's Energy Regen capabilities as well as increases the ATK of the next character that switches in after Mortefi's Outro Skill. Considering Mortefi's main kit revolves around his Liberation, you'd want this to have as little downtime as possible.
Transform into Impermanence Heron to fly up and smack down, dealing 310.56% Havoc DMG.
Long press to stay as Impermanence Heron and continuously spit flames, each attack dealing 55.73% Havoc DMG.
Once the initial attack lands on any enemy, the current character regains 10 Resonance Energy. If the current character uses their Outro Skill within the next 15s, the next character's damage dealt will be boosted by 12% for 15s.
CD: 20s
Restores Mortefi's Resonance Energy so he can cast his Ultimate more. Increases the next character's DMG dealt, good for a semi-support role for Mortefi.

Synergies & Team Formation
Synergies
Mortefi is Jiyan's tailor-made partner. Via his Echo Sets, his S6 and Static Mist, Mortefi can give lots of ATK% buffs, but most importantly he amplifies Jiyan's main damage type, Heavy ATK DMG, by 38% on Outro. Therefore, he buffs Jiyan's damage by large amounts and has amazung synergy with him.
Mortefi is a good secondary for Absolution Phoebe with a Rejuvenating Glow Spectro Rover, however his Heavy ATK DMG Amplify on Outro faces loads of diminishing returns so his buffing potential mostly lies in his S6 and potentially the Static Mist pistol so he provides lots of ATK% to Phoebe. Overall this pairing is one of the best for Absolution Phoebe, but it is contested.
Mortefi, in Zani teams, acts as a substitute for Phoebe's buffing effects, but unfortunately doesn't apply any Spectro Frazzle. To compensate for this, Mortefi with Zani must be used with Spectro Rover, but under these conditions the team can work just fine and is able to clear endgame content without any issues, so the trio is definitely usable for F2P accounts!
One of the usual Healing Support options that can slot into any team. Super easy to use, provides amazing team-wide ATK% buffs and 15% DMG Amplify with one of the fastest rotations in the game.
Similar to Verina, a premium Healing Support option who can not only slot into any team, but also provide insane 12.5% Crit Rate, 25% Crit DMG, 25% ATK and 15% DMG Amplify buffs to your whole team. One of the best but also easy to use characters in the game.
