- Lumi does not generate much resonance energy in her standard concerto rotation. Because of this ER is a very important stat for her in many team compositions - without it she'll be unable to consistantly access her Ultimate and as a result will have to extend her field time to make up for it.
- Depending on the team Lumi is played within exactly how much you'll need will vary - we recommend starting with 150% - 160% ER and adjusting depending on your needs.

Pounce
When in Yellow Light Mode, use Resonance Skill to perform Pounce, which consumes STA to pounce on the target before switching to Red Light Mode.
Lumi will perform a Pounce without STA cost when switched onto the field.
Rebound
When in Red Light Mode, use Resonance Skill to perform Rebound, which consumes STA to leap backward and attack the target before switching to Yellow Light Mode.
Yellow Light Mode
Perform ranged attacks when in Yellow Light Mode.
Red Light Mode
Perform melee attacks when in Red Light Mode.

Energized Pounce
When Yellow Light Spark is fully recovered, replace Resonance Skill with Resonance Skill Energized Pounce that deals Electro DMG and enter Red Spotlight Mode. The DMG dealt is considered Basic Attack DMG.
When in Red Spotlight Mode, the DMG Multiplier of Red Light: Basic Attack and Red Light: Heavy Attack is increased, with an extra amount of Sparks recovered.
Red Spotlight Mode ends after performing altogether 4 Basic Attacks and/or Heavy Attacks.
Energized Rebound
When Red Light Spark is fully recovered, replace Resonance Skill with Resonance Skill Energized Rebound that deals Electro DMG and enter Yellow Spotlight Mode. The DMG dealt is considered Basic Attack DMG.
When in Yellow Spotlight Mode, Glitter is replaced by Glare, with an increased DMG Multiplier and an extra amount of Sparks recovered.
Yellow Spotlight Mode ends after shooting 6 Glares.
Laser
Casting Outro Skill consumes all Sparks obtained in the current mode.
Laser can be cast when the amount of consumed Sparks is greater than or equal to 25, dealing Electro DMG. The DMG dealt is considered Basic Attack DMG.
Every 25 Sparks consumed generates 1 extra Laser beam, up to 4 Laser beams.
Yellow Light Spark
Lumi can hold up to 100 Yellow Light Sparks.
Lumi obtains Yellow Light Spark under the following conditions:
When Yellow Light: Basic Attack hits the target;
When Glitter hits the target;
When Glare hits the target;
When Resonance Skill Energized Rebound hits the target;
When casting Intro Skill Special Delivery.
Red Light Spark
Lumi can hold up to 100 Red Light Sparks.
Lumi obtains Red Light Spark under the following conditions:
When Normal Attack Navigation Support hits the target in Red Light Mode or Red Spotlight Mode.

Weapons
Jinhsi's weapon is currently also the best broadblade option for Lumi's damage, who benefits a great amount from the Skill DMG Bonus the weapon provides, as it boosts a good chunk of her rotations damage. The high base ATK, 24% CRIT Rate and 12% DMG Bonus the weapon additionally provides are also all stats that are welcome for her, making it a very high damage option
Jiyan's signature weapon that's not only fantastic for him but also usable on all damage-focused Broadblade users. Offers a huge main stat of CRIT DMG% granting excellent scaling, 12% permanent generic DMG% and up to 48% increased Heavy ATK DMG% after using 1/2 skills and or a Resonance Liberation.
Top Broadblade option only in competition with some 4★ weapons with multiple copies invested or limited 5★ weapons. Offers high base ATK, ATK%, a good amount of Energy Regen to save at least 1 sub-stat on gear to be reallocated to better uses and a stackable Resonance Liberation ATK DMG% bonus that ramps up as you use Resonance Skills.
Strongest 4★ Broadsword option, granting main stat CRIT RATE for excellent scaling and an incredibly easy to access bonus ability which grants a stacking ATK% buff that only requires you to use Basic or Heavy attacks during your rotation.
A solid F2P 4* broadblade option for any DPS character scaling off of ATK. The ATK% boost it provides when casting your Resonance Skill is great on most characters, and while the small energy generation it provides at the same time is more situational, it can be handy as well.
A generic option, granting a stacking ATK% buff after using your Resonance Skill that starts at 0 and grants 1 stack every 2 seconds up to 4 stacks - reaching a maximum after 8 seconds. Buff resets shortly after the stack cap limit is reached after which you'll have to repeat the cycle anew. Falls behind other options due to it's buff being inconsistent but still a viable option if you don't have better.
Another generic Broadblade option with a mix of utility and offense, granting a large amount of Energy Regen as a main stat. Also a reasonably strong and easy to maintain bonus ability that offers an ATK% buff as long as you remain above 80% HP. Our calculations assume you'll stay above 80% for the whole fight, if you can't you can lower this weapons performance.
Discord is good for players looking to smooth out Lumi's rotation with some extra concerto and also for those hungry for Energy Regeneration for her.
Echo set
Echo set 1

5pcs Set: Upon using Outro Skill, increases the ATK of the next Resonator by 22.5% for 15s.
Lumi is a Sub-DPS unit through and through, aiming to buff the Resonance Skill DMG of the next character taking the field. Moonlit Clouds ensures that the buffs the incoming character gets is maximized.
Transform into Impermanence Heron to fly up and smack down, dealing 310.56% Havoc DMG.
Long press to stay as Impermanence Heron and continuously spit flames, each attack dealing 55.73% Havoc DMG.
Once the initial attack lands on any enemy, the current character regains 10 Resonance Energy. If the current character uses their Outro Skill within the next 15s, the next character's damage dealt will be boosted by 12% for 15s.
CD: 20s
The best Echo to use for a Sub-DPS Lumi. This ensures maximum buff for the next character taking the field.
Echo set 2

5pcs Set: Electro DMG + 15% after releasing Heavy Attack or Resonance Skill. This effect stacks up to 2 times, each stack lasts 15s.
The second option for Lumi since you can also count on Lumi to deal damage when she's on the field. This is especially helpful in the early game when you don't have a defacto DPS in your team and you still need to run Lumi, or if you're running a double DPS team. Once you get a DPS though, switch to them and run Lumi as a Sub-DPS.
Transform into Nightmare: Tempest Mephis and attack surrounding enemies, dealing 405.00% Electro DMG.
The Resonator with this Echo equipped in their main slot gains 12.00% Electro DMG Bonus and 12.00% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus.
CD: 25s.
A more damage-centric Echo for Lumi. Buffs her own Electro DMG so she can deal as much damage as possible while on the field. If you do not have access to Nightmare echoes yet, you may use the normal Tempest Mephis found in Huanglong.

Synergies & Team Formation
Synergies
Lumi is able to significantly buff Jinhsi's nukes via her Outro which gives 38% Resonance Skill DMG Amplify. Synergy ends there, but it's simple and effective nuke damage potential. Be wary however that Shorekeeper will not work in that team, due to Jinhsi's Forte requiring the presence of Coordinated Attacks in her teams (something Lumi and Shorekeeper don't possess, but Verina does).
Carlotta does almost exclusively Skill DMG, which is exactly what Lumi amplifies by a whopping 38% on her Outro skill, making the synergy pretty natural. Be careful however that you have to time Lumi's Outro right as you activate your Forte nuke with Carlotta, else you won't get the buffs for your whole Ultimate. This means the team is rather awkward to play.
One of the usual Healing Support options that can slot into any team. Super easy to use, provides amazing team-wide ATK% buffs and 15% DMG Amplify with one of the fastest rotations in the game.
Similar to Verina, a premium Healing Support option who can not only slot into any team, but also provide insane 12.5% Crit Rate, 25% Crit DMG, 25% ATK and 15% DMG Amplify buffs to your whole team. One of the best but also easy to use characters in the game.
